My name is Ruth Bosco, and I am majoring in Anthropology at CAL. Even though my main interest is in healing, I am taking Anthropology for a liberal education and am specifically interested in the concepts developed in medical anthropology. I seek to understand the roots and branches of healing, what kind of medicine can cross all language and cultural boundaries (I think it's love), and to understand people and where they're coming from so I can trust myself to help them.
